12 new rooms in a brand new development adjacent to the lodge. All rooms are large in size and are furnished in a contemporary manner using muted colours of the Perthshire landscape. All are finished to a very high standard with large 6ft super king beds, 32 " wall mounted plasma televisions with separate DVD player and also i pod stations to allow you to listen to music in your room or bathroom through your own surround sound system. All rooms also have internet access available. Bathrooms are luxurious with most benefiting from both a large shower and separate free standing bath. They also have the luxury of underfloor heating.
Superior rooms are an excellent size with either twin beds or fabulous 6ft double beds. The en suite has an extremely large walk in shower,two wash hand basins, under floor heating and surround sound audio system. All have a courtyard outlook.
Deluxe rooms are larger in size with either twin beds or fabulous 6ft double beds - some rooms also have the facility to sleep up to 5 people in comfort. These bathrooms are impressive, providing both a free standing bath and luxury shower. Additionally, these rooms have the added luxury of a private balcony or garden terrace to allow you to relax and watch the wiildlife in the adjacent pond and hills beyond.

Breakfast at Craigmhor Lodge is a highlight using only the best of local produce. It is served in our large comfortable conservatory with a panoramic view of the town and Tummel Valley. Breakfast is served each day between 8 and 10 a.m. Early breakfast is available by arrangements.
A Contintental Hamper Breakfast is also available in our courtyard bedrooms to allow you to relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast either in your room, on the balcony or garden terrace.
Packed Lunches
We're happy to prepare a packed lunch for you to take out for the day. Our packed lunch consists of home made deep filled sandwiches, fruit juice, fruit, chocolate and crisps. Should you have any specific requirements, please let us know the night before and we will be happy to accommodate your wishes.

Pitlochry New Year’s Day Street Ceilidh - The New Year celebration was started by Pitlochy’s Community Council to mark the new millennium in 2000.New Year's day celebrations in Pitlochry's main street Atholl Road It was such a success that it has continued and grown year on year, with some 2,000 to 3,000 people participating each year. Atholl Road, Pitlochry’s main street, is closed to traffic from 2pm to 4pm on New Year’s Day and everyone literally Ceilidhs . The local Butchers MacDonalds Bros supply gallons of hot soup, sausage rolls, pies which are free of charge but are funded by a donations with a bucket at the end of the table to help fund next year’s supply. An extremely good way to start the New Year.

Etape Caledonia Closed Road Cycle Challange Cyclists heading off from the start of Etape Caledonia cycle raceIs Britain’s first and currently only closed road timed cycle event which is open to the ordinary cyclist and is the equivalent event to a marathon for those thousands who jog. The route takes in 81 miles of Highland Perthshire, starting and finishing in Pitlochry. The event brings in many people to Highland Perthshire for the first time to cycle in our clean air and our breath-taking scenery. The 2009 Etape Caledonia event has 3,500 entrants and takes place on the morning of Sunday 17th May.

Atholl Highlanders Annual parade - Blair Atholl The very colorful Atholl Highlanders Annual Parade, with inspection by John Murray, 11th Duke of Atholl, will take place on the parade ground before Blair Castle at 2.30 pm on Saturday, 23rd May 2009. Accompanied by their Pipe Band, the Highlanders will open the proceedings with the traditional firing of their mountain gun, a ceremony guaranteed to start things with a 'bang'.

Blair Castle International Horse Trials
One of the main events of the Horse Trials and Country Show is the Three Day Event which was originally intended to test the all-round ability of both the cavalryman and his military charger. Over the years it has evolved into three modern phases of the sport - dressage, cross-country and show jumping. In and around the arena in the grounds of Blair Castle, there is much more entertainment besides the international competition, including falconry, gun dogs and terrier racing, as well as a programme of children's activities such as climbing walls, outdoor play equipment, bouncy castles and mini quad bikes. The castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl, enjoys one of Scotland's finest settings in the heart of Highland Perthshire and is open to the public throughout the event.

The Pitlochry Highland Games. These games were first held on the 10th September 1852 and have been held annually except for the period of the World Wars. The Pitlochry Highland Games Committee have always tried to make sure the games are run along the lines of a traditional Highland Games with competitors coming from all over Scotland and further afield to participate. Pitlochry Highland Games takes place in 2009 on Saturday 12th September, at its usual Recreation Ground venue in Pitlochry, Perthshire

Perthshire Amber. ‘The Dougie MacLean Festival’ – Pitlochry is very fortunate to be the base for this fabulous music festival of one of Perthshire’s finest musicians. The event takes place for 10 days in a variety of venues across Highland Perthshire each autumn. People come from all around the world to the festival. The Enchanted Forest. This extremely popular event runs for 17 nights at the end of October each year with an extravaganza of lighting and music as you walk through the woods. Some 17,000 people attend the event each year. (Friday 16th October to Sunday 1st November 2009)

The Pitlochry Autumn Festival runs on the same nights as the Enchanted Forest until 8pm each night. Its prime purpose was to add to the experience of those who came to Pitlochry each year for the Enchanted Forest, by having a number of events actually in Pitlochry’s main street, these include street entertainers, Halloween Marquee, Story Telling Yurt, Tours, and a treasure hunt. (16th to 31st October 2009).
